Curtains are often used to conceal the interiors from the outside while allowing the light to filter through. Since they block the sun, they bear the brunt of harsh ultraviolet rays which can cause the colors to fade over time. The effect is accelerated by exposure and intensity so those living in warm climates will be affected quite severely. Vibrantly colored curtains will turn pale after years of continuous use. The darker the initial shade, the more obvious this will be. Smart homeowners will therefore turn to white curtains as these do not have any dyes to worry about. They will retain their appearance for many years with proper care. Another trick is to use a double curtain configuration wherein white curtains face the sun while colored curtains face the room.
Balance curtains in fact give you precisely what the name says. The wonderful balance of colors, with a mix of black, beige, cream and brown. The harmony of a modern ring top curtain with vertical stripes, contrast horizontal band and stunning heavy quality fabric. The black curtain in this range as you can imagine is our most popular. This curtain design is the idyllic representation for modern curtains.
''Tape' is the name for the band of fabric with string threaded through which is attached to the inside top edge of each curtain 'Hooks are looped through the tape to attach the curtain to the track or pole 'The tape on all our ready made curtains is 7.5cm (3") 'The tape will have either 2 or 3 rows of strings running through it. Please note that if you place your hooks on the tape at the highest position your track or pole will show over the top of the curtains. If you choose the lowest position it will be hidden. More instructions are given below on how to use hooks
