There are many variations in pleated drapes; viz: goblet pleats, pencil pleats, French pleats, box pleats, and pinched pleats. The pinch pleated ones are available in double or triple folds, and are very easy to make at home.
Most curtain rods that are available in market are of neutral colors such as black or white. Hence, they go well with almost any curtain, color, or design. Any set of conventional curtain rods are made up of two principal parts - the bracket and the actual rod. The brackets are secured into the wall, and then the rod is screwed or attached to them.
Apart from all this, the best and the easiest way is to have white vinegar and an old sock or a cotton glove at your disposal. Place it on your hand and dip the tips (fingers) of the sock or the glove in the container having vinegar, and simply run your fingers through both the sides of the slat for removing the dust. Clean each slat by using this method; just keep checking that the sock has not become too dirty, or it will make the slats even more dirty than they were before.
