Whether you buy pinch pleat curtains from web portals, outlets, or customize them yourself, one thing you should check is the quality of the pleats. They must be clustered well so that they remain secured for a long time. This is the sole criterion for choosing the right kind of curtains. Drapes are a very important part of home interiors. They not only make your interiors look great but also keep away harsh sunlight and dust. Although drapes are frequently mistaken for curtains, the two are very different from each other. Drapes are made of heavy lined fabric, which are usually floor length and are hung on rods with hooks. Curtains, on the other hand, are made of unlined light fabric of varied lengths. There are different types of fabrics used to make curtains and drapes due to which they have their respective roles. Among these, one of the most common are the pinch pleated drapes.
What are your options? You can choose from standard rods, spring-loaded rods, traverse rods, decorative rods, adjustable rods, magnetic rods, double and triple rods . . . made from brass, chrome, ivory, graphite, mahogany, teak, walnut, plastic, metal . . . . And we haven't even mentioned color or style yet!
A triple curtain rod comes with three metal arms, from which you can hang the curtains. You do not need to invest in any special brackets as these can be hung from the regular bracket on the window. They come with adjusters, using which the rod can be adjusted to fit any window size. Although, if you are really particular, you can order for the customized triple rods as well, which are specifically designed to fit a particular window. These will, however, pinch your pocket as they are way too expensive. Hence, a better idea is to go in for the adjustable triple rods which can fit in any window size. Also, if your window is very large, you can buy extenders and increase the length of the curtain rods, to match your window size.
